RUMSON, NJ: RESOURCES Real Estate in Rumson proudly announces that sales associate Nicholas M. McCabe is a new member of the Board of Trustees of the Monmouth County Historical Association. As a new trustee, he will serve on the Taylor-Butler House Committee, which oversees that property in Middletown.
McCabe grew up in Rumson and attended Christian Brothers Academy, then graduated Pace University, and has lived in New York City for the past 25 years. He last worked in the Worldwide Securities division of J.P. Morgan.
“I congratulate and welcome Nicholas McCabe to our Board,” says Board President Claire Knopf. “He is a Monmouth County native with strong community roots, who brings a passion for our mission and a wealth of local knowledge, as well as business acumen. Nick’s real estate expertise will be highly beneficial as our Association is the steward of five historic houses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Monmouth County Historical Association is recognized as one of the nation’s leading local history organizations, with nationally recognized museum collections, award-winning exhibitions and a premier library and archives.”
Resources Real Estate is equally proud of Nick for this accomplishment, according to Carolynn Diakon, Broker-Senior Partner. “It’s a distinguished affiliation that will integrate well with his real estate practice. As a company we value local historic assets and support preservation.”
“Nick’s appreciation of the historic resources of the area is to be admired,” said Thomas McCormack, Broker-Managing Partner. “Resources has long been a supporter of Monmouth Historic Association and we are confident Nick will be an advocate for their mission.”
