FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Todd’s Book Break Launched by Resources Real Estate Agents

Red Bank, NJ, November 28th, 2017 – This Thanksgiving season, the children of Red Bank had one more thing to be thankful for.  Resources Real Estate’s sales associates (and husband and wife) Allison and Mark Gregory launched Todd’s Book Break at the corner of Bank & Tilton streets in Red Bank, right next to their home at 109 Bank Street. Todd’s Book Break is a small library that allows children in the area to borrow books as well as leave donated books.  The library box was created in honor of Norma Todd, the former owner of the house.

A longtime Red Bank resident, Norma Todd, who passed in April 2008, was famous for co-founding Lunch Break, a non-profit charity organization that provides food, clothing, life skills and fellowship to those in need in Monmouth County and beyond.  Mrs. Todd served as the organization’s Executive Director for more than 25 years and left a legacy of love and determination as her banner.

The name Todd’s Book Break was chosen by Norma Todd’s daughters, Angela Todd and Ann Todd.  The daughters wrote a book about their adventures traveling the world with their mother and father, James Todd, who served in the US Foreign Services.  Copies of the book are also available at Todd’s Book Break.

“When we bought the house we didn’t know Norma Todd used to live here,” said Mark Gregory. “The library box was inspired by the steady flow of visitors to the house.  These were people whose lives had been influenced by Norma Todd.  They wanted to share stories and, I think, make sure we knew how special the home we bought was.  We realized we have to keep her memory alive.”

Allison and Mark held a small ribbon cutting ceremony on October 28th to dedicate the library box.  Guests at the ceremony included Gwendolyn Love, the current executive director of Lunch Break, several representatives of the local Republican Committee, who donated the box, and colleagues from Resources Real Estate, who assisted with refreshments, materials and distributing flyers to get the word out.  Home & Land Development of Rumson mounted the library box in the ground, and the library was ready to go.

“Both Mark and I are proud agents at Resources,” said Allison Gregory.  “We are grateful for their support of this event and for helping to make it happen.”

More information about Lunch Break and the great work they do is available on their website http://lunchbreak.org

As Operations Manager, Lexi will oversee operations for Resources Real Estate’s four offices, including systems management, facility maintenance and staffing.  In addition, she will be directly involved in new hire processing, commission payments and continued development of agent support structure.  Lexi will be based in the Rumson office, but will make regular visits to each office and will maintain regular contact with both office management and administrative staff.

Resources Real Estate Luxury Real Estate in Monmouth County, NJ 732-212-0440Georgeann’s depth of experience and knowledge of real estate admin support and operations is impressive, having worked at Coldwell Banker’s Rumson office for nearly 18 years.  The praise she has received from the agents she had previously worked with is a testament to her resourcefulness, work ethic and initiative.

Georgeann will be responsible for Resources’ transaction management solution system, ensuring the order and organization of all documentation, and assisting agents, as well as general admin support at the Rumson office.

Resources has continuously been making efforts to bolster the support given to its agents as well as the company infrastructure by amassing the best support team, already consisting of the following staff members:

  • Susan Chaney – Online Marketing Coordinator, Monmouth Beach Office Admin
  • Patti Fiasconaro  – Graphics Production Coordinator, Red Bank Office Admin
  • Jane Robinson – Advertising & PR Coordinator, Atlantic Highlands Office Admin
  • Colette Wester – Promotions & Leads Coordinator, Atlantic Highlands Office Admin

“We conducted a very long search for the right candidate for the Traffic Coordinator position and we are thrilled to have found Georgeann for the job,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon.  “As for Lexi, she has been a real asset to the Resources team and we are proud to be able to honor her with more responsibility.  Each and every single part of the Resources family is important, and having such a fantastic team is what makes us strong and keeps us competitive in the luxury real estate market.”

“The collective support of all of Resources’ managers, agents and admin staff is extremely appreciated as we continue to grow and strengthen our internal infrastructure and hiring, as well our sales and market presence,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker at Resources Real Estate.  “We are committed to providing the very best support for our agents, and are confident it further promotes growth, as well contributes to a more positive work environment for us all.”

Living In 2017 Guide

Overview

Resources Real Estate is an award-winning Monmouth County, NJ full-service independent residential brokerage firm, with four offices and a team of more than 75 sales and support personnel. Resources Real Estate was opened by Carolynn Diakon in 2000. Thomas McCormack has been with the company since 2002, and joined Diakon as a partner in 2010. In 2016, Resources Real Estate was included on Inc. magazine’s 34th annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

What does inclusion in the Inc. 5000 mean for your clients?

The Inc. 5000 list represents a critical segment of America’s independent entrepreneurs, and we are proud to be recognized among such great company. To make the list, companies have to demonstrate a rapid revenue growth over a three-year period. In the last three years, Resources Real Estate expanded the number of its office locations from one to four, tripled the roster of its agents, and saw a growth of 137% in revenue. These strengths have helped us recruit and attract top-producing real estate professionals, local experts with track records of success who are ready to provide the highest quality services to our clients.

Resources Real Estate has earned additional distinctions in the field as well. Can you talk a little about these?

We had a very successful year in which we won the award for Best Overall Marketing Package at the 21st Annual Luxury Real Estate Awards, topping 15 other notable nominees in this category. Our submission for the Best Overall Marketing Package award highlighted the firm’s copious branding and marketing tools, starting with the elegant company logo, prominently featured on all communications. All of our agents and employees implement our marketing package daily, supported by a print and online marketing team who work tirelessly throughout the year and produce magnificent results.

Resources Real Estate is recognized in Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, a global network of select luxury real estate brokers and a resource for finding the crème de la crème of residential real estate firms around the world. We also have a growing number of agents who have earned the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence Sales Award.

What else sets you apart from other real estate agencies?

Resources Real Estate is your local Monmouth County broker with a global reach. Leveraging the most emergent technologies and social media strategies, we are more than just a real estate brokerage, we are a lifestyle company. Our agents are determined to exceed customer expectations through the passionate delivery of outstanding service. We are Monmouth County’s premier luxury real estate boutique.

How full is “full service”?

We make it our business to cover all contingencies for buyers and sellers alike. With our Concierge Services at your fingertips, we offer the expected relationships with attorneys and lenders, as well as preferred services with personal chefs, assistants, travel agents and more to make your experience with Resources totally fabulous. We also offer more obscure services which may include anything from home repairs to private jet and yacht rentals. Resources Real Estate Luxury Real Estate in Monmouth County, NJ 732-212-0440

The end of year and start of a new one is a special time because it encourages each of us to review what has come before and envision what lies ahead.

For us at Resources Real Estate, we saw 2016 bring us many things, much of which will carry us into 2017 with great momentum. In September we were nominated for 8 awards by Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate (LRE), a prestigious global network of elite brokers and agents. Among the nominations were Best Website, Best Print Marketing, Best Digital Marketing, Outstanding Social Media Savvy, Most Innovative Marketing Technique (which we won 2 years ago) and others. Most every national real estate firm was among the nominees including affiliates of Sotheby’s, ReMax, Coldwell Banker, and more, as well as many fine independent brokers from around the country and the world. We are truly honored to be recognized in such fine company. September was also the month we were named to the Inc.5000 — Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. This recognition of our growth was a welcome surprise and it demonstrates that our work has yielded real results.

In October the celebration continued as we brought home the award for Best Overall Marketing Package from LRE at their 21st annual Luxury Real Estate awards ceremony held in Aspen. This recognition was momentous as it acknowledged our efforts in print, digital and online, in our company branding, property marketing and agent promotion. Our marketing approach’s comprehensiveness was key to our receiving this award. October was also the month we celebrated our top agents by rewarding them with a luxury cruise vacation for their hard work and stellar sales. It was a joy to spend time with these wonderfully impressive people — not just great sales professionals but warm, compassionate and creative individuals. We aspire every day to fulfill our ideal of “Exceptional Service, Exceptional Homes, Exceptional Agents” and 2016 exemplified our success in inching closer to it. We look forward to an exciting 2017 and all it holds for us. We wish you the best in the new year as well.
