DEAL, NJ: RESOURCES Real Estate recently sponsored a table at the “Shine on our Jersey Shore” Gala put on by the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County. The event was held at the Deal Country Club to honor The Robin Hood Foundation for the Relief Fund and their tremendous contribution toward the rising of Monmouth County after Hurricane Sandy.
Mayors and first responders from shore towns affected by the storm were also recognized at the Gala, where Resources Real Estate sponsored the Rumson table.
“The MHA does good work in promoting awareness of mental health and the issues that surround it,” said Carolynn Diakon, Broker-Senior Partner. “The gala was a beautiful event and we were happy to be part of it to support them, as well as helping to honor The Robin Hood Foundation.”
Nine towns participated in the gala, which was well attended by mayors and town officials.
“We like to stay visible in the community,” said Thomas McCormack, Broker-Managing Partner. “It’s also important for us to seize the opportunity to show support where we can and give back whenever possible. The damage done by Hurricane Sandy was considerable, but so was the effort to rebuild by so many people. We are fortunate to live in an area full of so many ready, willing and able individuals. Contributing to that effort gave us great pleasure.”
