FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Todd’s Book Break Launched by Resources Real Estate Agents

Photo courtesy of Red Bank Green

Red Bank, NJ, November 28th, 2017 – This Thanksgiving season, the children of Red Bank had one more thing to be thankful for.  Resources Real Estate’s sales associates (and husband and wife) Allison and Mark Gregory launched Todd’s Book Break at the corner of Bank & Tilton streets in Red Bank, right next to their home at 109 Bank Street. Todd’s Book Break is a small library that allows children in the area to borrow books as well as leave donated books.  The library box was created in honor of Norma Todd, the former owner of the house.

A longtime Red Bank resident, Norma Todd, who passed in April 2008, was famous for co-founding Lunch Break, a non-profit charity organization that provides food, clothing, life skills and fellowship to those in need in Monmouth County and beyond.  Mrs. Todd served as the organization’s Executive Director for more than 25 years and left a legacy of love and determination as her banner.

The name Todd’s Book Break was chosen by Norma Todd’s daughters, Angela Todd and Ann Todd.  The daughters wrote a book about their adventures traveling the world with their mother and father, James Todd, who served in the US Foreign Services.  Copies of the book are also available at Todd’s Book Break.

“When we bought the house we didn’t know Norma Todd used to live here,” said Mark Gregory. “The library box was inspired by the steady flow of visitors to the house.  These were people whose lives had been influenced by Norma Todd.  They wanted to share stories and, I think, make sure we knew how special the home we bought was.  We realized we have to keep her memory alive.”

Allison and Mark held a small ribbon cutting ceremony on October 28th to dedicate the library box.  Guests at the ceremony included Gwendolyn Love, the current executive director of Lunch Break, several representatives of the local Republican Committee, who donated the box, and colleagues from Resources Real Estate, who assisted with refreshments, materials and distributing flyers to get the word out.  Home & Land Development of Rumson mounted the library box in the ground, and the library was ready to go.

“Both Mark and I are proud agents at Resources,” said Allison Gregory.  “We are grateful for their support of this event and for helping to make it happen.”

More information about Lunch Break and the great work they do is available on their website http://lunchbreak.org

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Resources Real Estate Utilizes Exclusive New Technologies to Showcase its Properties

Resources Real Estate Luxury Real Estate in Monmouth County, NJ 732-212-0440Rumson, NJ, September 8th, 2017 — Resources Real Estate announced its collaboration with two technology companies, allowing the firm to use innovative, enhanced methods to market its properties to potential buyers and bring the remote property buying experience to a whole new level.

The first technology comes from Matterport, a Virtual-Reality (VR) company that makes real estate property listings come alive by offering 3-D walkthroughs.  Matterport supplies a dimensionally accurate model of the space, exactly how the human eye would see it.

41 Marlpit Road, Middletown, NJ 07748 Front Dollhouse View

Resources Real Estate is currently using this Virtual Reality technology for listings at 41 Marlpit Place in Middletown, and 45 River Avenue and 24 Gull Point Rd, both in Monmouth Beach.  Using 360-degree photography, this VR technology allows people to get “inside” the space, as well as see floor plans and a ‘dollhouse’ view of the homes.  The listings can be viewed remotely by wearing VR goggles or by logging into the property websites.

“People who are looking to buy a house appreciate the ability to truly experience the space by walking through it remotely,” said Tammy Brindise, listing agent for the Gull Point Road listing.  “It’s one thing to see photos, but to be able to virtually walk through the property is incredible.  One has to experience it to understand it.  Resources Real Estate is, once again, offering innovative ways to market our properties. As an agent it’s extremely satisfying, and my clients love it.”

“As a luxury firm, we cater to many international and out-of-area buyers, as well as high net-worth individuals whose schedules may not allow for extensive property hunting,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, Senior Partner and Broker for Resources Real Estate.  “Using VR technology allows us to offer a higher level of customer service to both buyers and sellers by allowing more convenience and speedier results.  It ensures that in-person showings are more productive because their first visit via the VR experience is so true to life.”

The company’s second innovation takes the virtual experience to another level entirely.  Created with Mythic VR, it allows users to experience a completely immersive, computer-generated 3D model of a property that does not yet physically exist.  With this technology, located in the company’s Monmouth Beach sales office, a user’s movements are tracked and reflected in 3D space.  Not only may the user see the space but with a handheld controller they may also alter it: change flooring or wall color, select an alternate countertop or cabinetry, and more.  Resources Real Estate has been using this technology to showcase Sunset Villas Luxury Townhomes in Long Branch and is planning on implementing it on some other projects in development.

“The physical model built for Sunset Villas was quickly sold and we needed a way to show prospective buyers what the units that were yet to be built would look like,” said listing agent Helen George.  “With this tool people are able to not only virtually walk through all levels of the place, but also see their future views.  No more standing on a pile of dirt!  This VR experience is like no other!”

“We are excited to be the exclusive brokerage with this technology in central New Jersey,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker at Resources Real Estate.  “We have always embraced technology and we believe that innovation has been key to our growth and clearly sets us apart from our competition.  These tools enable us to better serve both our luxury clientele as well as our developer partners and we are likely going to use them for commercial development in the future.  And VR is actually a lot of fun! We really enjoy it.”

Resources Real Estate showcases their Virtual Reality technologies at their Monmouth Beach office.  Please call 732-212-0440 to schedule an appointment or for more information on accessing remotely.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Resources Real Estate Exceeds Sales Goals for 2nd Quarter of 2017 – and Advises Investors on Summer 2017 and Beyond

Resources Real Estate Luxury Real Estate in Monmouth County, NJ 732-212-0440Monmouth County, NJ, August 15th, 2017 — Resources Real Estate, Monmouth County’s award-winning luxury real estate firm, announced that it had exceeded its 20% sales goal after the second quarter.

Through June 30th, 2017, Resources Real Estate’s overall dollar volume sales are up 23% relative to 2016, with unit sales up 14% and median sale price up 46.4%.

June 2017 proved to be a particularly strong month for Resources Real Estate, with over $20mill in total sales, over $10mill of them in Hoboken.

The rapid growth and development Resources Real Estate has seen during 2017 could be attributed to many factors.  Besides statistics of the local real estate market – more on that below – the firm has taken several strategic steps this year that have made a difference.

In April The Ozar Group joined Resources, expanding the firm’s reach to include luxury residential and commercial properties in Hudson County.  In May, Resources appointed office managers to the four Monmouth County locations to streamline operations by managing agent goal-setting and performance review and supporting agents through challenges and negotiation.  Throughout the year, Resources continued to emphasize the lifestyle aspect of their brand by highlighting Monmouth County towns and launching social media hashtag campaigns, as well as creating micro-sites dedicated to the activities and cultural happenings taking place in these communities.

“We are thrilled with the results of the second quarter,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon.  “We will continue to innovate to stay competitive in the luxury market, and we will keep on offering more and more international properties to our clients, as well as expose our clients’ properties to international buyers.”

On its award-winning website, Resources updated its “Market Report” section, detailing the current real estate market in Monmouth County broken down by major markets and showcasing Q2 results in comparison to last year’s.  One notable figure: increased sales in 75% of all surveyed towns for Q2 were followed by a deep drop in inventory, as most people prefer to use the summer for vacation and relaxation.  Despite that, price still plays a major role: two thirds of markets surveyed showed increases in median sale prices since last year and in those areas where the median sale price was $550,000 or less, sales have been particularly rapid.

Fair Haven has been a true gem for Monmouth County, reporting an astounding 60% increase in sales.  According to reports, Fair Haven’s median home values went up 4.55% since March 2016.  Fair Haven was followed by Long Branch, with close to 33% increase in sales.

In Hudson County, published reports show that Hoboken’s median home values went up 12.55% since March 2016, while Weehawken’s median home values surged a whopping 25.15% in the same time period.

“We offer our clients much more than just representation,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker at Resources Real Estate.  “We advise, educate, guide, make recommendations, help clients negotiate, and find new ways to market and promote our listings, as well as go out of our way to find properties for buyers.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

RESOURCES REAL ESTATE SHARES THE LOVE
Launches #weloveRUMSON Campaign
Resources Real Estate specializes in selling and buying luxury homes, estates, mansion, waterfront, commercial properties, and beach rentals in Monmouth and Ocean County New Jersey. 732-212-0440

RUMSON, NJ, Feb. 27, 2017 — Resources Real Estate may be known for its award-winning luxury marketing and exceptional homes, but now it wants to be known for something else.

“We’re all about the love,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker. “Part of what makes our job so enjoyable is that we truly love where we are, which makes us happy to sell and rent property where we are, and we’ve come to a point where we want to spread the love.”

To demonstrate the company’s deep affection for their market area, the Resources team has launched the first installment of a campaign to not only show the love but also encourage others to share it. Resources Real Estate recently launched a Facebook community page named weloveRUMSON, as well as a website (www.weloveRUMSON.com) and is encouraging people to tag photos in social media with the hashtag #weloveRUMSON whenever they are out and about and having fun in Rumson.

“Rumson is a terrific town and our goal is to encourage residents to celebrate it,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, Senior Partner and Broker. “We urge local businesses to participate and promote their brands, invite charitable organizations to tout their achievements, and hope residents will join in the celebration. We fully expect that many will begin to use the hashtag at the upcoming Rumson St.Patrick’s Day Parade.”

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a big deal in Rumson. This year the town’s 5th annual celebration of all things Irish (http://rumsonstpatricksdayparade.org) will take place on March 12, 2017. Last year’s parade had more than 15 bands, floats, active military & veterans’ groups, Irish Step Dancers, scouting organizations, non-profit clubs, novelty acts, local business, civic groups, and antique cars. Additionally, the event organized several fundraisers with Irish music and food and raised more than $25,000 for local charities.

The Resources team is excited to participate in this year’s parade — look for their boat in the parade— as well as celebrate with a party in the company Rumson’s office. Resources Real Estate will even create their own Snapchat geo filter which will allow parade attendees to more easily tag their photos with the #weloveRUMSON hashtag.

“We are a hyperlocal boutique real estate agency and our brokers know the area like no other,” said McCormack. “It feels right for us to celebrate a town that not only houses one of our main offices, but also serves as a home to many on our team.”

The company announced it will be celebrating other area towns throughout 2017.

People are encouraged to join the Facebook community page at: https://www.facebook.com/weloveRUMSON
